Welcome to Lorenzo’s Italian Restaurant! Established in 1950 by the late Lorenzo Grosso. The restaurant is now in its seventh decade and third generation. Together with her son Peter, Angela Maffeo is carrying on the rich tradition established by her father by serving the finest Italian food for miles around to thousands of new and loyal customers every year.

The original restaurant was situated at 10 High Street in Taunton, Massachusetts, where the Taunton Mall is located today. This is where Lorenzo and his wife of 65 years, Geraldine, humbly began, together performing the duties of “Chief Cook and Bottle Washer” and baking pizzas in a Dutch oven rotated by hand.
